The MRWmanager for the MRW-1000 limit is mainly used to set the tara and the different kinds of alarms.

With this kind of solution you have much more opportunities to set the different kind of values compared to the “Teach-In” unit.

For example, you can comfortably change the weight for the touchdown alarm or the hysteresis for the MRW-1000 Limit with the MRWmanager.

Also, you can set flexible pre alarms and alarms to achieve the perfect performance of your lifter – in comparison, the “Teach-In” unit automatically stores 84% of the alarm-value for the pre alarm.

The user interface of the MRWmanager offers the opportunity to set the alarm weight by writing the value, or to change the weight by using the arrows.

For the “Prealarm” and “Prealarm flashing” you define the value when you are setting the percentage of the alarm weight. It is also possible to change the weight by shifting the graph for both alarms.

But do you know, that the MRWmanager offers a lot of more opportunities?

Especially for matters of traceability, the MRWmanager gives a lot of support.

In the folder ‘Parameter’ you’ll find the statistics group, where all main information about the lifter are listed.

Those values provide the service support with the first ideas, when checking the lifter without finding the failure that the customer reports at first sight. Both alarm counter and the maximum load give a first impression of how the end customer uses the lifter. For example, the customers might not be aware of putting much more weight into the basket than allowed. With these statistics, you thus have the tractability for your customer, which indicates that the machine was working out of specifications. If your customer does not believe that, try to convince him in a positive way for a test. Together, you can reset the statistics values by pushing the reset button. All statistics values will be deleted. After a couple of weeks you can check the statistic values again with your customer and probably he will be surprised about how many times the lifter had stopped for safety reasons.

But the statistics are not just relevant for the service. Also, for rental companies the statistics offers an overview about the lifter.

Beside the already mentioned statistic-weight they can additionally check how many operating hours the lifter was in use. This topic is of particular interest for very simple lifters, in which no operating hours counter is installed. The rental company can save the statistics for each new hiring and after the job they can check if the customers had been taking care of the lifter and how many hours the lifter had been working to make sure, e.g., that the lifter had not been working for 24 hours/day, when it was only rent for 2 hours.

But if you think, that somebody can reset the MRW to hide something, you can be calmed. All values are saved – also when the MRW seems to be postponed. MOBA has special opportunities to check the whole life cycle of the MRW.

In the folder ‘Service’ you’ll find detailed information about every error or warning which the MRW reported. This information provides the service technician with additional important information. All information is stored for the Master and the Slave. The MOBA repair department always checks the protocol first, in which the failure that the customer descirbes can directly recognized in the majority of cases.
