Recycling materials become more and more valuable

In attached recent press release "THE BUSINESS INTEGRITY COMMISSION LEADS INVESTIGATION TO BREAK UP LARGE SCALE RECYCLING THEFT RING" it is reported on the breakup of an organized theft ring in New York City, which set up an operation to steal cardboard for recycling. What does the highly increased value of recycable material mean to the use of technology in waste managment? In my opinion, the more valuable the materials for recycling get, the more important it becomes for waste management companies to know where they collect what amount (weight) of recycling materials. By knowing where the valuable material comes from waste management companies have assistance to run their operation more efficient. What is your opinion and / or experience on increasing value of recycling materials? PR 7.24.12.docx 36.7 K
