Do you need someone to talk to – someone who listens?

"There is a new patented technology available to measure the length of outriggers or telescopes. It is based on ultrasonic.

This technology is mostly used in single sonic devices, made possible by the send and reflection receiving principle. Common uses include level control, thickness measurement etc. A target can always be detected when there are no obstacles in between it and the sonic. Wouldn’t it be nice if we could also use this robust and contact free technology when there are obstacles (like hydraulic tubes, cables or metal parts) in between?

The Dual-Sonic-Meter DSM - 500 works with two sensors. One sends the signal and the second one receives it. Then it goes the other way around. The second sensor answers and the first receives. Reflections and side echoes are no longer a problem. In addition the modern CAN interface and the daisy chain wiring concept gives the manufacturer an additional advantage. This system is TÜV approved and PL_d certificated.
