LTS Part II: - Standard, Quick-Tach & Customized Solutions -

Standard System

To equip a fork-lift-truck with our standard system, the boreholes for receiving the load-cell-ends are drilled into the original fork carriage plate. Thus, the weighing frame has a fix connection to the basic carriage plate. Now, attachment devices of all kinds can be mounted on the ""new"" fork carrier plate.

The Quick-Tach-System

The quick-tach system is designed as an attachment device and is only mounted and locked through two holding claws.

For foundry applications, the measuring cable is routed in an additional empty hydraulic hose, so that it is permanently protected against iron splashes.

Customized Solutions

MOBAs Customer ""MKF Compact Trucks""

Company MKF plans, designs and builds compact trucks & special vehicles with an enormous weight range of up to 80 tons lifting capacity. Special vehicles are telescopic cranes, platform trucks and heavy-duty trailers. All vehicle chassis are made of 100mm thick steel sheets, drives are mostly hydrostatic and a remote control for them vehicle and all its functions and features is no uncommon solution. Even those companies such as the company MKF want to use truck scales. But the fact is, that we do not produce scales for 20 - 80 tons lifting capacity as a standard solution.

So our task is to find, design and equip a customized solution:

Since we are not able to mount the needed load cells in the carriage of the truck, we had the idea to pick up the forces on the hydraulic cylinder for moving the slope of the lift mast. For this purpose, we had to use a 10 tons load cell, vertically mounted. Apart from that, we could install our standard electronics and standard additional display.

However, this is just one of many customer-specific solutions that we can offer and realize repeatedly.
