More than 20 years ago, one of our Dutch machinery dealer equipped a paver with a MOBA grade control system. At that time, the MOBA system was known to be the absolute, state-of-the-art technology. 20 years later, the system is still running. The only reason it got sent back was because it was time to upgrade finally to today’s newest state-of-the art grade control technology.
We at MOBA understand how expensive it can get, when a paver doesn’t work properly at a job site. If components on a machine fail, it often shuts down the whole construction process. In consequence, a technician has to be sent out to check the system and if necessary, repair the machine. Technical service and spare part logistics can create considerable costs and the completion of an installation may result in a delay.
Therefore, the impeccable use is important! MOBA products, like grade control, have been known for more than 40 years for longevity and reliability. They need to run under extreme variations in temperature, vibrations, condensation, as well as dusty and rough material environments. For which reason, customers must have a high level of confidence in their systems. MOBA’s mission is to build high-quality components and we put extensive resources and efforts into designing, manufacturing and testing our products in compliance with newest pick-and-place machines and technologies. We know how robust our products need to be.
We find it pretty fascinating to get a complete functional product back after 20 years in use, without any failure. We hope you do, too!
