Joint Radio Appearance with Geolaser in Peru
Last year in September, we got the opportunity to give a live interview on Radio FM Fuego in the city of Chiclayo (Peru) together with our dealer Geolaser. On 3rd September 2017 at 3:00 pm, which is also considered prime time, we went live on air!
This was a great experience, especially with the positive feedback we received from the audience! Eng. Manuel Millones, responsible for the radial program "Surco Norteño" invited us after several meetings. He is an engineer, well-known in the agricultural world of Peru for his knowledge and his daily radio program dedicated exclusively to matters related to new technologies and new processes used in agriculture. The program is open to the listener, who can connect via telephone and put questions to the interviewees / guests. In this case, MR. Nicolas Romero, general manager of Geolaser, our distributor for the North of Peru, and myself, sales manager at MOBA for the countries of Central and South America were invited for the interview. We presented for one hour in detail the MOBA Laser and GPS levelling solutions, the service and technical support, the advantages and disadvantages and all the features of the products in the various applications.
Since the audience was essentially famers during their lunch time, we engaged in quite some interesting conversations and gained some more insights into what the Peruvian market is concerned with. We are grateful for this opportunity and look forward to the results!
In order to draw farmer’s attention to advanced technologies which might still be unknown to a majority of them, we decided to profit from the wide reach and everyday use of radio as a communication channel. The radio can accompany people while they perform other activities, such as working, driving the car, sunbathing on vacations etc.
Now, we have set our next goal: television. We have already started negotiations with the television station TV Norte. We are waiting for details and agenda to present our technologies, on which is the most watched television station in the communities of northern Peru, to broadcast in Piura, Cajamarca and Chiclayo.
With this type of communication, we want to attract the attention of consumers (farmers and earthmoving companies) by providing information that can lead them to our product, we also want to encourage incorporating some stimulus or contribution that offers value to the consumer and invite the audience to visit us or contact us for any further questions.
