Possible with MOBA’s HMI concept, modular safety technologies complement the work area of your work aerial platform. According to the principle of a construction kit, MOBA specializes in components that are approved in practice and contain high variations of innovative, individual modules. Through the combination of existing and new technologies, development costs are minimized by the concurrent use of redundant construction and safety technologies. With use of CAN communication, the control panel can be individually and exactly adapted to one’s requirements, with minimal cabling.

By using the modular concept, the MCP “Modular Control Panel” was created according to one of our first customer needs. This one of is taking the advantages of the HMI concept.

Its strengths are especially the user-friendliness. Even further, the modular components can be fast and effortlessly changed.

#Display

The intuitive color display with its clear design eases the work enormously. The display consists of a 7” high-end graphic display that can even be operated with gloves. It offers up to seven speed buttons, which can be customized, for example, to adjust the light or to save basket positions. Furthermore, ten menu buttons are located sideways of the display. The layout allows for use with both hands. The buttons can be customized to one's needs like important machine information, outrigger situations and user tips. The display provides various text sizes guaranteeing readability in different lighting conditions. Also, the buttons are equipped with background light and a status LED signaling a particular switching status. Basic modules are without color display, a 3,5” display and three menu buttons.

#Voltage

In addition, the MCP series is equipped with a 230-volt mounting socket as well as a 24-volt connection. This makes it easier for the operator handling cabled work equipment.

#Joystick

Offered in the usual design and configuration, the joystick can be freely selected. An additional feature is the new function of the Z-axis. This function prevents unintentional activity through locking mechanism. The railing can be used as a hand rest and controls the work basket with the joystick in a comfortable and easy way. The keyboard is located between both joysticks, which has up to 16 buttons. Assignment of keys can be freely chosen by the customer.

#Design

By default, the front foils of modules are available in white or in MOBA design. With the white front foil, the customer has the option to choose the module using its own design.

#Controller

MOBA designed the controller housing multifunctional, making it suitable for four different kind of controllers. One can choose between two MPC-113 controllers, two MSC-113 controllers, an MPC-330 controller, as well as two other controller modules.
